The Tarrea Queen has proved to be a suitable platform from which to carry out geophysical surveys. Depending on the survey specification and equipment, geophysical instruments can be either towed or pole-mounted. The vessel's manoeuvrability has facilitated geophysical surveys ranging from shallow waterinshore surveys on 20m grids to deeper water transects.
